libatlas3gf-base software package provides Transitional package to libatlas3-base, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libatlas3gf-base
libatlas3gf-base is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libatlas3gf-base package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libatlas3gf-base *
You will get with libatlas3gf-base package name, version, architecture and description in a table
